Welcome to Edition 7 of Effortlessly Organic Living.
January often arrives with a lot of noise about change, improvement, and starting fresh. This edition takes a quieter, more practical approach — focusing on one small low-tox shift that supports your health without adding pressure.

One Small Low-Tox Shift to Start the Year
January doesn’t need an overhaul — just one better choice
January has a way of making everything feel bigger than it needs to be.
Big plans.
Big intentions.
Big expectations.
But when it comes to low-tox living, starting the year well doesn’t mean doing everything. In fact, trying to do too much at once is often what makes people give up altogether.
Effortlessly Organic Living has always been about something different:
small, practical changes that fit into real life.
So if you’re thinking about making a few healthier choices this year, here’s a simple place to begin.
Start with one small shift
Instead of asking, “What should I change this year?”
Try asking, “What’s one thing I could make a little better?”
That might look like:
swapping one everyday product when it runs out
choosing a lower-tox option for something you already use daily
improving one small area of your home rather than tackling everything
No clean-outs.
No detoxes.
No pressure to do more than feels manageable.
One small shift is enough.
Why this works
Low-tox living isn’t about perfection — it’s about reducing unnecessary exposure over time.
Small changes:
are easier to stick with
don’t overwhelm your budget
build confidence instead of guilt
add up quietly in the background
And importantly, they don’t require January to become a project.
A simple way to choose your “one thing”
If you’re not sure where to start, look at what you already do every day.
What do you:
use most often?
come into contact with regularly?
replace fairly frequently?
That’s usually the best place to begin.
And if this doesn’t feel like the right week to make a change at all, that’s okay too. This isn’t a race, and there’s no deadline attached to living well.
Looking ahead
Effortlessly Organic Living will continue this year the same way it started — with practical, realistic ideas that support your health without adding stress or extremes.
For now, one small shift is more than enough.
Warmly,
Shari 🤍

They’re there to be dipped into, not worked through.
