Welcome to Edition 11 of Effortlessly Organic Living.

Finding real food shouldn’t feel like a scavenger hunt — especially when you’re travelling, busy, or new to an area. This edition is a little different because I’m sharing something I’ve created to solve that problem: a free, community-powered directory to help you find the good stuff faster (and help others do the same).

Effortlessly Organic Living 11: Natural Food Finder — Real Food Near You (Fast)

A free, community-powered directory for Australia (and it’s growing every day)

I have to tell you about something I’ve been quietly building on the road.

As many of you know, I’ve been travelling around Australia for a while now — and one of the things I keep running into, no matter where I am, is how hard it can be to find real food in a new place.

You know what I mean… the good stuff. Spray-free produce. Grass-fed meat. Raw honey. Farm fresh eggs. Raw milk. The things many of us are actively trying to choose more of.

Every time I arrive somewhere new, I find myself Googling, asking locals, hoping for the best. It takes forever. And eventually I thought…

There has to be a better way.

So I built one. 🌿

One of my go-to finds is already in there: Adelaide Hills Farmers Market (Mt Barker). That’s the kind of local gem I want this directory to make easier to find.

🗺️ Introducing: Natural Food Finder

Natural Food Finder is a free Australian directory where you can search your location and find:

Farmers markets
Farm gates + roadside stalls
Organic + health food stores
Grass-fed and organic meat producers
Raw dairy suppliers
Raw honey
Bulk wholefoods + co-ops
Natural + low-tox products
And more

Whether you’re travelling like me, or you just want better food sources closer to home — this is designed to make the search quicker and easier.

A little transparency (because I like to keep it real)

This directory is a work in progress — and that’s on purpose.

We’re launching today with 117 listings across every state and territory. That’s not “complete”… but it’s enough to be useful right now, and it gives us a strong foundation.

The magic of this directory is that it grows with the community. You know places I don’t. And once they’re added, they help everyone who comes after you.

Here’s how you can help (4 quick options)

1) Explore

Go to naturalfoodfinder.com and search your area. See what’s near you.
(Tip: bookmark it — you’ll thank yourself next time you’re stuck.)

2) Add a listing (free + fast)

Know a great farm gate, farmers market, organic store, co-op, or producer? Add it.
It’s free and takes about 2 minutes — and it makes the directory instantly more useful.

3) Spread the word

Share it with anyone who cares about real food. The more people who use it and contribute, the better it gets.

4) Join the community (pick your spot)

How “verified” works (for now)

If you’ve visited a place listed on Natural Food Finder, you can help everyone by leaving a quick review.

  • 3 community reviews = Community Verified 🌿

  • If I (or a Natural Food Finder team member) have personally checked it, it can be marked Staff Verified sooner.

Seen a listing you’ve been to? Leave a review and help it reach Community Verified.

Your turn (hit reply)

What’s the best real food find in your area?
A market stall? A farm gate? A hidden gem shop?

Hit reply and tell me — and if it’s not already listed, I’ll make sure it gets added.

With love and real food,
Shari 🌿
